This is the heart of the atelier. A made-to-measure piece is not a product you order — it is something you create with us.
Your vision, however you hold it
A sketch. A photo. A fabric. A feeling.
You bring the vision: a sketch, a photo you saved months ago, a fabric you fell for, a neckline from one dress and a skirt from another, or simply an occasion and a feeling. Our team turns it into a pattern, a toile, a series of fittings and, finally, a dress that exists only once and fits only you.
Some clients arrive with a full sketch. Others bring a folder of screenshots, a film still, a piece of lace from their mother. Many arrive with nothing but the event and a sense of how they want to feel in the room. All of these are the right starting point. Rodica and the team will draw with you, show you fabrics against your skin, and shape the design together until it is yours.
What we make
Evening, black-tie, cocktail, corset
Evening gowns and black-tie dresses, cocktail and occasion dresses, corset dresses, mother-of-the-bride and wedding-guest pieces, red-carpet and event gowns, wedding dresses by discussion, and made-to-measure versions of any Miron design.
Hand-set crystals, feathers, beading and embroidery are done in-house by the same embellishers who work on the Miron collections.
Fabrics
Choose from the atelier’s own small collection of fabrics, bring your own, or — by prior agreement — we will source a specific fabric through our suppliers.

Consultation
At the atelier, or by video if you are abroad: the occasion, your ideas and references, the date.

Design and fabric
A design proposal and fabric choice, with a clear quote before anything is cut.

Toile and fittings
A toile and first fitting with the tailor making your dress; a second fitting for embellished or structured pieces.

Final fitting
Final fitting, finishing and delivery.
Timing: most pieces are ready within about two weeks; larger orders and heavily embellished work take longer. If your date is close, tell us at the consultation — we will be honest about what the workload allows.
Investment
From AED 3,000 for a simple dress
Every design is quoted individually after the consultation, so you know the full figure before we begin.
The house label
Miron, designed by Rodica Miron, is made in this atelier and sold at Galeries Lafayette Dubai Mall, Harvey Nichols Doha and Farfetch. Every made-to-measure client gets the same team and the same finish. See the collection at mironatelier.com.
